El Fortín de Villa Pueyrredón1 - 1Argentinos de Recoleta

The unsurprising draw between El Fortín de Villa Pueyrredón and Argentinos de Recoleta left both teams with mixed feelings on matchday 9 of Primera I de CABA. Both squads opted for identical 4-4-2 formations with a balanced mentality, resulting in a low-key match in which neither side managed to gain a clear upper hand. Ricardo Zaghi scored for the home side, while Tito Basili found the net for the visitors, sealing a fair result that reflected the even level of both tactical approaches.

El Fortín controlled much of the match from Villa Pueyrredón with a side that moved without making any major adjustments. Gael Verde in goal was called upon only rarely and dealt comfortably with the moments that required his intervention. Horacio Olivares in central defence fulfilled his role without fuss, while Facundo Muñoz in midfield made his presence felt, although he picked up a yellow card that forced him to be more cautious in his movements. Joel Valencia on the right created a few openings but had little further impact on the result.

Argentinos arrived with intent but found solidity in the home side's set-up. Sebastián Doval from central defence provided an assist which Basili, the 28-year-old striker, converted; he continues to search for consistency in the Recoleta side. Oscar Bandini, a full-back with almost two decades in professional football, came through the match without any trouble. The visitors never felt comfortable pressing in the opposition's half and Argentinos settled for the point. Verde was booked in the closing minutes, when the game had already been decided. Both teams add one point to the table, with a performance that does little to bring them significantly closer to the top places.
