Liga Once0 - 4Sportivo Almagro Norte

Sportivo Almagro Norte arrived at Liga Once's pitch and handed out a football lesson that left no room for interpretation. The final 4-0 sums up a superiority that was clear from the first half, when the visiting side showed clinical efficiency against a home side that never found any answers. In Primera H of GBA Oeste, matchday 3, there was no possible tactical debate: both sides lined up in a 4-4-2 and with an even mindset, but execution decided everything. Liga Once had its moments, but lacked the attacking weight to cause any real concern. Almagro Norte, by contrast, turned every attack into a genuine danger.

The thrashing was emphatic because it was not just about winning; Almagro Norte played with precision in the build-up and power in the final third. The visitors' forwards worked like a well-oiled machine, taking advantage of the space the hosts offered up with defensive naivety. Liga Once faded as the match went on, unable to recover the thread of a game that was slipping through their fingers. By the end, resignation had already taken over the pitch.

The result leaves Sportivo Almagro Norte in an enviable position in the group, while Liga Once will have to carry out a thorough analysis of what went so badly wrong. It was no accident, nor bad luck: it was clearly a difference in purpose between two sides who stepped onto the same ground but with completely different levels. The rout hurts, but football is sometimes that blunt. For the next fixture, Liga Once need to rebuild themselves mentally because this kind of blow, if not properly dealt with, can leave uncomfortable scars on any squad's morale.
