Estrella de Villa Soldati1 - 0Club de la Vejez Feliz

Estrella Villa Soldati took a hard-earned win on matchday 2 of Primera H de CABA, beating Club de la Vejez Feliz at home with a solitary goal that reflected the tactical balance of the match. Both teams went with a 4-4-2 shape and balanced mentality, which produced a tight game where space was at a premium and defensive discipline took precedence over attacking intent. The winning goal for the Villa Soldati side came, but it was merely the result of sustained superiority that never became overwhelming.

The match unfolded much as expected between two squads that prioritised solidity over spectacle. Estrella Villa Soldati controlled periods of possession without unleashing a devastating attack, while Club de la Vejez Feliz stayed compact at the back, looking to exploit spaces in transitions that never quite came off. The tactical set-up was similar in both cases, which limited the contrasts and forced the teams to win the game through fine margins rather than conceptual differences. The hosts made use of home advantage to apply constant pressure, but without panic.

For Villa Soldati, this narrow win represents a solid start to the tournament, with a defence that remains firm and the ability to get tight matches over the line. Club de la Vejez Feliz, meanwhile, leaves CABA with an orderly but insufficient performance, an attacking shortfall that must be addressed in the coming matchdays if they are to remain competitive in the division. The match was a reflection of the parity that defines this section of the Buenos Aires league, where the margins between winning and losing are getting ever slimmer.
