ELDT and another Argentine browser football manager compared

Another Argentine football manager game appeared in September 2026 and within weeks became one of the most searched football manager games in Argentina: real clubs, real squads, free to play, no registration and browser-based. If you’re playing it or looking for it, this article explains what it is, what ELDT offers (another Argentine football manager game, also free and browser-based), and how the two differ, using the information each game publishes. They’re two different takes on the same idea: being the manager.

What is the other game?

According to its website and official account, the other game is a free football management game that requires no registration, and is the sister game of another title about a footballer’s career. It launched on 3 September 2026 with 60 countries and 1.622 clubs, and at the time of writing offers more than 2.000 real clubs from 90 countries, with their names, colours and badges, plus more than 57.000 real footballers with squad numbers, positions, nationalities and ages. Argentine football is represented by 170 clubs across six divisions, from the Primera División to Primera C and Federal A.

It has two modes: club (market, squad, season after season) and national team (you pick your squad, play the qualifiers and reach the World Cup in four-year cycles). You choose the club, pick the starting XI and tactical approach, sign and sell players, and watch matches in 2D within your save, at your own pace. The save is stored in your browser, with the option to export it, and the game is available in Spanish and English. It is funded by optional advertising (a video you choose to watch in return for a benefit) and donations.

It’s a solo career mode: the market, opponents and fixture list are all controlled by the game.

What is ELDT?

ELDT is a multiplayer football manager game. Your club is fictional, with its own neighbourhood, nickname, colours and history, and competes in a pyramid of Argentine lower-division leagues against clubs run by other people. The league is played on Thursdays and Saturdays at 21:00 (Argentine time), the Copa ELDT takes place on Tuesdays, and every match is covered live at the same time for the whole division.

Between matchdays comes the manager’s work: weekly training across seven skills and intensity levels, rotation based on fatigue, injuries lasting from 1 to 15 days, morale, academy youngsters, sponsors, ticket prices, stadium improvements and a budget you need to keep under control. The transfer market works through three-day auctions between managers, with loans and a 10% commission for each side. You can play in your browser or through the Android app, and your save is stored in the cloud with your account.

The differences, one by one

Real squads or your own club

This is the first thing you notice. The other game has real players, squad numbers and all, which is irresistible for many fans: managing your club with its actual squad. ELDT chose fictional clubs and players, with Argentine football culture, so what matters is the story you write yourself and so the game can remain free without licences.

Solo or against other people

In the other game, you progress whenever you want, playing against the game. In ELDT, the calendar is shared: Saturday’s match takes place at 21:00 whether you log in or not, your opponent is a manager who prepared for the match to beat you, and the person buying your player is another human being. It’s slower and, for those looking for competition, more intense.

The match

The other game shows the match in 2D within your save. ELDT provides live, minute-by-minute commentary, with the whole division playing at the same time; you can follow it on your phone or read the commentary afterwards. The guides to morale, fatigue and injuries and tactics for getting started explain what affects each move.

Account and saves

The other game does not require registration and stores your save in your browser, with an export option in case you change device. ELDT requires a free registration and stores everything in the cloud, so you can continue on any device without doing anything else.

National teams and cups

The other game has a national-team mode with qualifiers and a World Cup, as well as the club career. ELDT is currently a club game: league, Copa ELDT, Super Cup, Youth Tournament for the academy and private leagues with friends.

Payment

Both are free to play. The other game is supported by optional advertising and donations. ELDT has no advertising inside the game and no pay-to-win: Supporter is an optional plan offering club identity features and conveniences that provide no sporting advantage.

Which one is right for you?

If you want to manage your real club straight away, with its actual squad, and play at your own pace without registering, the other game is a very good option and clearly made with care. If you want promotion to be a challenge against other people, with matchdays lived through twice a week and a market where the community sets the price, ELDT is your game. Many managers play both: one for the solo career and the other for the competition.

Frequently asked questions

Are the other game and ELDT the same?

No. They are two Argentine football manager games, both free and browser-based, but they are different: the other game is a solo career mode with real clubs and squads; ELDT is multiplayer, with a league, cup and transfer market between people, and fictional clubs.

Does ELDT have real clubs and players?

No. ELDT’s clubs and players are fictional, with Argentine identities. This allows the game to be free, without licences, and lets each club write its own story from scratch.

Can you play ELDT without registering?

No, you need a free registration with an email address. That is what allows the save to live in the cloud and the opponents to be other managers.

Can you play both?

Yes. They do not compete for the same kind of time: the other game is played continuously whenever you have a spare moment; ELDT is played in 10- or 15-minute sessions each day, with matches at fixed times.

If you want to try the version against other people, you can create your club in ELDT and play the next matchday.
