Club Atlético Sportivo Colonia Sur2 - 1Emma3d Futbol Club

Federación Caballito took a deserved home win against Sportivo Boedo Sur in a match that showed two sides with similar set-ups but differences in execution. The final 2-1 sums up what happened on the pitch well: a tight contest where the details made the difference and where the home side made better use of its chances. Both sides went for a 4-4-2 with an even mindset, which produced a scrappy game in midfield where neither managed to assert themselves decisively.

The match was marked by physical intensity and both sides' defensive organisation. Federación Caballito found gaps in the visitors' defence at the key moments, scoring twice while firmly containing Boedo Sur's attempts to hit back. The home team managed the tempo well, neither rushing nor dawdling, and knew how to shut up shop when needed. Sportivo Boedo Sur got a deserved goal back, but it was not enough to turn around a result that slipped away more because of imprecision in the final third than a lack of endeavour.

For Federación Caballito, this victory consolidates their position on matchday 4 of Primera H of GBA Sur and gives them breathing space in the table. The hosts showed competitive maturity, something valuable at this stage of the competition. By contrast, Boedo Sur are left frustrated at having gone toe to toe but ended up with a defeat that, in retrospect, could have been avoided with greater precision in the final passes. Both teams remain in the race, but the home side takes the three points after a match where the margin was minimal but decisive.
