Club Atlético Villa Obrera0 - 0General Güemes de Floresta

Atlético Escobar and General Güemes de Floresta shared the points in a match where both teams favoured tactical caution. The goalless draw was the reflection of two balanced approaches that never quite found the crack needed to breach the opposition defences. With 4-4-2 shapes and even mindsets, the game unfolded under a veil of caution that, at times, verged on apathy.

The first half passed without major alarm. Atlético Escobar, at home, tried to set the tempo, but the visitors from General Güemes de Floresta closed down the spaces between the lines well and limited the dangerous approaches. Midfield was the area where the moves were shaped, though without the clarity these contests demand. The flanks created movement without precision, and there was barely any meaningful action in the penalty area. The second half did not change the script: both squads kept their defensive structure, wary of exposing their flanks. General Güemes de Floresta had their moments to cause problems, but without the necessary cutting edge. Atlético Escobar could have pushed harder in search of a home win, but chose to settle for what they had.

The result leaves both teams in an awkward position in the Primera H - GBA Sur standings. For Atlético Escobar it is a point that slips through their fingers at home, where victory was almost an obligation. General Güemes de Floresta, meanwhile, earn a valuable point away from home, though without the feeling of having truly competed for all three. On matchday 4 there is still room for recovery for both, but these matches without a decisive finish tend to weigh heavier in the final straight of the tournament.
