Estrella de Villa Soldati1 - 1Sin Lleno Sin Retorno

Estrella Villa Soldati and Sin Lleno Sin Retorno shared the points in a match that reflected two sides with similar approaches and little appetite for taking too many risks. The 1-1 final score on the opening matchday of Primera H CABA was the logical outcome of a game in which both line-ups prioritised defensive security from the outset. The hosts found the opening goal, but the visitors managed to level before the final whistle, leaving a result that does not fully satisfy either side but does not punish them excessively either.

Tactics were the main story of the afternoon. With both teams setting up in a balanced 4-4-2, there were no great surprises or excessive attacking ambition. Estrella Villa Soldati used their home advantage to press during spells of the match, while Sin Lleno Sin Retorno looked solid at the back, ready to accelerate whenever an opportunity arose. Transitions were the sharpest weapon for both sides, although neither quite managed to convert the clear chances they created.

The draw leaves a bitter taste for Estrella Villa Soldati, who had the chance to collect three points straight away. For Sin Lleno Sin Retorno, by contrast, the point earned away from home is a respectable result, albeit with the feeling that they could have done more in the second half. Both teams will have to improve considerably in their execution if they want to play a leading role this season. Primera H CABA promises to be competitive, and these first 90 minutes confirmed it: there are no gifts, only teams fighting for what is theirs without losing their heads.
