Futbol Puchito1 - 2Aurora de Coghlan

Aurora de Coghlan took a deserved victory from Argentino de Versalles' pitch in a match that carried the hallmark of parity. The final 2-1 neatly sums up what it was: two teams with similar approaches, balanced in their 4-4-2, who faced off without major scares but with clear intent. The men from Coghlan knew how to make the most of their moments and left with all three points from matchday 11 of Primera L — GBA Sur, leaving the hosts with the feeling that they had come close but not close enough.

Maicol Paredes, the 29-year-old centre-back who has carried his scars from a lifetime on the pitch, scored one of the visitors' goals in a match where Felipe Coelho also stood out down the left for Coghlan, with a rating of 7.5 that translated into a constant presence. For Versalles, Agus Atxaga, the 32-year-old midfielder who keeps bringing experience with every touch, scored the home goal, while Ismael Bovo, the left-back of just 21 and a recent arrival at the club, provided an assist that showed the youngster has the talent to grow. Bruno Avanzi, Aurora's youthful goalkeeper, only 16 years old in goal, put in a solid display with a 7.4 rating that helped preserve the lead when needed.

What remains pending for Argentino de Versalles is the ability to see out those matches that are played on level terms. They had the goal but could not prevent Aurora from taking the lead. The men from Coghlan, with a squad in which the experienced Octavio Rivero sets the standard from left-back, confirmed they have the solidity to win away from home. Three points that sit well in the fight for the top places.
