Ganadores Natos2 - 2Club Temperley FC

Ganadores Natos and Club Temperley FC shared the points in a match where both had arguments for winning, but neither managed to take their chance. At Ganadores Natos’ ground, on matchday 2 of Primera G del GBA Norte, the 2-2 draw was a fair result for two teams that opted for balance from the outset. The hosts found their main attacking threat in Roberto Castiglione, a 25-year-old Uruguayan forward, while Temperley arrived with Bautista Tognola and Edu Spinetta, two players rated 7.2 who set the visitors’ tempo. Castiglione opened the scoring with a goal that seemed to set Ganadores Natos on course for victory, but Temperley did not give up. The Buenos Aires-born centre-back Spinetta, with his 33 years of experience, showed that veteran know-how remains commonplace in these divisions: he scored to level the match.

The interesting moment came when Elián Pawlak, a Brazilian centre-back aged just 19, took advantage of a muddled move to put the hosts back in front. The defender, who received a yellow card for his defensive enthusiasm, scored a goal that once again put the visitors in trouble. But Tognola would not let Ganadores Natos get away: the Bahía Blanca midfielder, with his 7.2 rating, scored the equaliser that sealed the final result. Gianluca Villanueva, Ganadores Natos’ right-back, provided a valuable assist during the match, while Pepe Vilas, the hosts’ attacking midfielder, also contributed an assist despite receiving a yellow card. In defence, Damian Karam held firm at the back for Temperley with the resolve that characterises his 33 years.

The match left the feeling that both teams have the tools to improve in the competition, but also the certainty that the details will make the difference in the coming matchdays. Neither Ganadores Natos could consolidate their home advantage nor Temperley manage to take all three points away from home. Two points shared in a tournament that has only just begun.
