CLUB ATHLETICO ALEM
Match report
Los Sin Camiseta and Borussia Mortimer shared the points on matchday one of Primera G - CABA with a 1-1 draw that reflected the tactical balance of both teams. Under a 4-4-2 setup and balanced mentality, neither side managed to impose their authority at the home ground. David Brunelli, the 32-year-old striker who arrived at the team almost by chance not long ago, was the one who put Los Sin Camiseta ahead with a goal that once again showed his scoring ability. With a rating of 7.2, Brunelli was one of the most active men in attack for the home side, although he could not hold onto that lead for the full ninety minutes.
Borussia Mortimer's response did not take long. Santiago Ordoñez, the 34-year-old centre-back born in Bahía Blanca, finished off the equaliser with a goal that caught Los Sin Camiseta's defensive lines by surprise. Ordoñez, with a rating of 6.9, showed the abilities that have kept him going at that age and also picked up a yellow card along the way. Meanwhile, Aníbal Turetta, the young 19-year-old centre-back from Tandil, provided an assist that proved key in the away side's attack, confirming that Borussia Mortimer's emerging talents are on the right track.
In defence, Noé Brunelli, the veteran 38-year-old goalkeeper between the posts for Borussia Mortimer, put in top-level displays with a rating of 7.0, although it was not enough to claim victory. Galo Jankowski, the 33-year-old left winger for Los Sin Camiseta, drew on his experience down both flanks but the result slipped through his fingers. With two balanced teams and both defences doing their job, the 1-1 was a fair reflection of an opening fixture in which nobody managed to gain the decisive edge.
