Independiente Parque Centenario and Social y Deportivo Villa Soldati shared the points in a match where both showed similar mindsets but differing results in execution. The final 1-1 reflects a closely fought fixture in Primera L - GBA Norte, on matchday 13, where neither side managed to assert itself decisively over its rival. It was a match of balanced approaches, with 4-4-2 formations on both sides, where the pitch at Parque Centenario ended up being shared territory rather than anyone's domain.
Kevin Zambrano opened the scoring for the home side with a goal that gave the hosts some breathing space, but the away team did not give in. Emiliano Bugliani, from midfield, found the way to level it for Social y Deportivo Villa Soldati with a 7.2 rating display that made him the standout for the visitors. Víctor Barba, Parque Centenario's central midfielder, played his part in the assist for Zambrano's goal, showing that at 27 he remains a key piece in midfield. Gabi Benevento, the young goalkeeper from Bahía Blanca aged 19, had a steady night with no major scares in his goal. For the visitors, Héctor Szymanski did his job in goal, although he could not stop Zambrano's strike and picked up a yellow card during the match. Iñaki Rinaldi, the 18-year-old youngster from Comodoro Rivadavia, tried to make things happen in attack but could not find the space he needed.
The draw leaves a mixed feeling for both. Parque Centenario missed the chance to pick up three points at home, while Villa Soldati can take heart from not losing away from their pitch. With this result, the home side keeps its ambitions alive but does not break away in the table, and the visitors continue to seek consistency in their away performances.
