General Alvear de Once left no doubts at the Once. With a solid display and taking advantage of the visitor's inaccuracies, the home side prevailed three to one over Unión Palermo Hollywood in a match where both sides came with an identical tactical set-up —four at the back, four in midfield, two up front— but where the hosts found the spaces to do damage more clearly. The result was comprehensive, although the game had its tense moments, especially in the opening minutes when Unión Palermo Hollywood managed to keep a certain balance in the play.
The most obvious difference came in attacking efficiency. José Couto, a thirty-four-year-old veteran with a rating of 8.4, was an overwhelming presence in the box: he scored two goals and was the main reason General Alvear de Once took a comfortable lead. José Riquelme completed the attacking haul with a goal from the left, showing that when the home side found circulation down the flanks, Unión Palermo Hollywood had difficulty stopping the flow. Kevin Sassi's rating in the home goal —7.5— was enough; he did not have to make a decisive intervention because the defence, with Emanuel Molina holding firm despite a yellow card, kept the visitors at bay. Edu Leguizamón scored Unión Palermo Hollywood's only goal and was booked, but it was not enough to avoid the collapse. Gonzalo Ulloa, the youngest in the visitors' side at just twenty-one, provided one assist but could not change the course of the game.
For General Alvear de Once, the victory strengthens their position near the top of the table. For Unión Palermo Hollywood, the blow hurts: going away from home with tactical balance was not enough when the opponent had a forward in inspired form. In Primera L de CABA, these differences in execution are often decisive.
