Match report
N. Estrella Floresta showed no mercy in West GBA. With an almost perfect performance at home, the hosts thrashed Liga Núñez 3-0 on matchday 12 of Primera I, demonstrating that when the mechanisms work, superiority is made clear without the need for drama. Both teams started with similar ideas, 4-4-2 formations and balanced mentalities, but the difference would lie in their precision and ability to make the most of their chances. Estrella Floresta converted their opportunities; Núñez barely created any.
The main architect of the feast was Santino Palomeque, who scored three goals on a night of attacking freedom. The 25-year-old midfielder, with a rating of 9.6, was practically impossible to contain: he moved between the lines, found space and finished calmly. In defence, Loly Olmedo (7.5) performed solidly at centre-back, although he was booked for excessive aggression in some challenges. Left-back Oliverio Romano (7.3) also enjoyed a reliable match, while Nahue Burrini, already a veteran at 36, kept order in goal with an untroubled performance that reflected how little he had to do.
For Liga Núñez, the task was one of constant containment. Bruno Wieczorek (18 years old, 6.7) and Vicente Rosas (30 years old, 6.5) did what they could out wide, but without offering attacking width. Sebastian Mazur at centre-back (32 years old, 6.3) tried to organise the resistance, although it proved insufficient. The visiting side never found the rhythm to cause any concern and left Floresta with a defeat that exposes their current limitations. For the winners, three points that strengthen their position in the tournament; for Núñez, a night to urgently review their defensive fundamentals.
