CR Parque Patricios2 - 1Central de Belgrano R El Barrio

Parque Patricios secured a victory that underlined their home credentials against Central de Belgrano R El Barrio on matchday 12 of Primera I GBA Oeste. The final 2-1 summed up a match in which both teams set up in similar formations, two 4-4-2 systems with a balanced mentality, although the hosts found just enough openings to take all three points. It was a tight but deserved win in this case, achieved without heroics but with authority.

Ezequiel Rotondi was the undisputed protagonist of the afternoon. The thirty-year-old forward scored two goals that put Parque Patricios in control of the match, showing the maturity of someone who knows where to position himself in the box. With a rating of 8.4, Rotondi was the outstanding player. Samuel Tossi, his thirty-two-year-old attacking midfielder, also put in a notable performance with a rating of 7.7, orchestrating the play from deep. Manu Riva, at thirty-six, fulfilled his role on the left despite receiving a yellow card that leaves him walking a disciplinary tightrope. For the visitors, Rolando Stankovic, only twenty-six years old, scored from defence — something unusual that highlights his attacking ability — but it was not enough to secure a positive result. Matías Levin, Central de Belgrano's thirty-six-year-old left midfielder, provided the assist for Stankovic's goal but was also unable to carry the team on an afternoon when the neighbourhood side fell short in several areas of the pitch.

Parque Patricios consolidated their progress in the division thanks to a tactical solidity that prevented any major scares. For Central de Belgrano, this defeat raises more questions than answers about their ability to compete away from home. The team will need to rethink their attacking output if they are to seriously challenge for the top positions in the table.
