Match report
AD Recoleta claimed a narrow victory over Sportivo Once Norte on matchday 9 of Primera I de GBA Oeste, with a goal from Leonel Zella proving to be the difference in a match where both teams set up similarly, but the home side were more clinical when it mattered. The result was fair on a pitch where the game flowed without any major imbalance, with two 4-4-2 formations seeking tactical balance and control of the midfield.
The undisputed standout was goalkeeper Joaco Roman, who justified his 7.7 rating every time Once Norte came forward with attacking intent. Left-back Ramiro Morales, despite being booked, put in a solid defensive display on his flank, while Geremías Soldini on the left wing was a constant source of energy in attack. In midfield, Zella — still only an eighteen-year-old youngster — showed the maturity to finish in the box when the opportunity arose. Jonathan Mariño, also booked, posted a respectable rating but lacked explosiveness.
On the other side, Sportivo Once Norte were unable to make their chances count. Damian Muñoz in goal, with a meagre 5.9, was exposed at key moments. Agustín Bertolino, aged thirty-four and with a rating of 6.3, tried to bring experience to the defence, but the visiting side lacked the attacking precision they needed. Valentino Bevilacqua did a solid job in midfield without standing out. For AD Recoleta, these three points consolidate their progress through the west-zone tournament. For Once Norte, there is a feeling that the match could have gone differently with greater efficiency.
