Real San Cristóbal Reservas1 - 1Belgrano Villa Crespo

Real San Cristóbal Reservas and Belgrano Villa Crespo shared the spoils in a match where both similar approaches ended up reflecting the parity in the result. The 1-1 on San Cristóbal's pitch was a fair draw, though with nuances that left both sides feeling they had let something slip away. The home side had control of much of the game, but the visitors' defensive solidity frustrated any attempt to take all three points.

Valentino Calabrese opened the scoring for the home side with a goal that allowed San Cristóbal to dream of victory. The Patagonian winger, who at 26 already knows the attacking area well, was the main source of danger in the first half. Renzo Vidal, the 19-year-old young midfielder, played a key part in the move that led to the goal with an assist that showed his maturity for a youngster just beginning to make his way in this category. But Belgrano Villa Crespo did not fold. Theo Zimei, a 21-year-old right-back with more craft than flair in his background, found the equaliser with a goal that sealed the draw and restored hope for the visitors. Ulises Saud and Rodolfo Recalde, both booked, tried to contain Eduardo Granado's advances in attack, though the Mendoza striker, 26, was more of a spectator than a leading man in most of the action. Joaquín Castelli, the veteran centre-forward of 34, also saw yellow in a match where the tussle was constant but never came close to violence.

The draw leaves both teams with mixed feelings. San Cristóbal take a point at home when they could have won; Belgrano Villa Crespo leave satisfied at having salvaged a result in hostile territory. In Primera I GBA Norte, these details end up being decisive by season's end.
