Federación Liniers1 - 3CR Parque Patricios

Federación Liniers had no answer to CR Parque Patricios’ momentum at the Flores stadium. The visiting side came away with a comfortable 3–1 victory in a match where the hosts barely managed to stay on an equal footing. With two identical formations — both using a balanced 4-4-2 — the difference was in their finishing: while Parque Patricios converted their chances, Liniers squandered opportunities that would have given the result a different complexion.

Alberto Guevara was the only player able to score for the hosts, with an impressive performance from the Neuquén midfielder, who showed clarity in his distribution (7.2). Ramon Grabowski did his job at left-back, providing a strong defensive showing despite his thirty years. But Chino Rossini was the star for the visitors, the forward who arrived at Parque Patricios almost by chance and today reminded everyone why he deserved that opportunity: with a rating of 7.7, he was the difference in attack. Alongside him, Axel Valli (7.5) was a difficult wall to get past in defence, while Manu Riva (7.4) organised the midfield with the experience that comes with being thirty-six. In goal, Gino Zimei (7.2) performed reliably. Galo Arnaldi, the eighteen-year-old left-back, sealed the victory with a goal that showed Parque Patricios have plenty of options in attack.

Liniers are left with the bitter taste of a matchday on which they were unable to compete at the required level on a pitch that should be their stronghold. Parque Patricios, meanwhile, take home three valuable points that keep them alive in the fight for the top places in Primera I GBA Oeste.
