Primera Nacional - Zona B: Matchday 8 preview and kick-off times

The headline fixture is the clash between Defensores de Tristán Suárez and Sportivo Brandsen at the top of the table. The leaders have been unstoppable: five wins on the bounce have taken them to 21 points and a comfortable lead in Zone B. Brandsen, meanwhile, are also in the mix, sitting fifth on 12 points, although they arrive bruised after three consecutive draws. For Tristán, it is a chance to extend their winning run; for Brandsen, an important test to avoid falling behind.

At the other end of the table, the match between Atlético Campana and Defensores de Las Flores promises plenty of edge given the circumstances. Campana are ninth with just 8 points and have only just ended a run of two straight defeats, looking for some breathing space in the danger zone. Las Flores, seventh with 9 points, are coming off a draw and know they need points to stay out of trouble. Neither side can afford to slip up.

Sportivo Roque Pérez are also throwing their hat into the ring, sitting third with 16 points and facing Sportivo City Bell, who are eighth on 9 and coming into the game in better form. Roque Pérez need to maintain their pace in the promotion race; City Bell need a win to move closer to safety. And in another fixture involving two sides near the bottom, Chascomús host Defensores de Olavarría in a battle where defeat would bring either team dangerously close to the foot of the table.

Sportivo Constitución, second with 17 points, will look to keep up with the leaders when they face Defensores de Dolores in the final fixture of the programme. Constitución are enjoying a positive run and know every point matters in this race. Defensores de Dolores, meanwhile, are in freefall and need to turn around a difficult run of results.
