Primera Nacional Zone B: Matchday 10 preview and kick-off times

Matchday 10 is set to light up Zone B, with the headline fixture unquestionably the clash between the two leaders: Defensores de Tristán Suárez arrive top of the table with 25 points and the form of a side firing on all cylinders (GEEGG), while Sportivo Roque Pérez are breathing down their necks on 22 points, having won three of their last five (GGGPG). This is the sort of match that could decide who breaks away at the top, and with real managers in charge, expect every decision to be made with serious intent.

At the other end, there is a survival battle promising plenty of tension. Defensores de Olavarría and Club Berisso find themselves in much the same situation: 15th and 14th respectively, both with just 5 points, and both coming into this one on worrying runs (EPPPP and EPEEE). There is very little room for error here; whoever fails to pick up points will drift dangerously further away from the pack. It is the kind of fixture where nerves will be running high.

There is also movement in the race for the top places. Sportivo Constitución (3rd with 19 points) host Sportivo Necochea (4th with 19 points) in a head-to-head between sides separated by the finest of margins in the table. Necochea come into it in good spirits (GPGGP), while Constitución have shown steadier form without quite kicking on (EGEGG). These are the matches people will still be debating at the bus stops afterwards.

Defensores de Dolores (12th with 9 points) host Atlético La Plata FC (16th with just 4 points), another fixture in which the side at the bottom needs points or risks sinking further. Dolores have shown some stability (EEEGP), but La Plata are coming off three straight defeats (PEPPP) and urgently need some breathing space.
