Futbol Puchito1 - 2AD Villa Urquiza

Argentino de Versalles could not sustain the tempo against AD Villa Urquiza and ended up surrendering at home by 2-1 in a match where both sides came out with similar set-ups, 4-4-2 and balanced mentality, but where the visitors were more clinical at the decisive moments. The home side had its chances in Versalles, but lacked accuracy in front of goal and defensive consistency to take the three points. Villa Urquiza, by contrast, executed its plan more efficiently and left the south side of Greater Buenos Aires with a victory that reflects its growth in this Primera L de GBA Sur.

The midfield was the epicentre of the match. Chacho Gutiérrez, the 21-year-old midfielder who comes from the south, showed good circulation from the home side's midfield, while Nicolás Branca, the other central midfielder in action, exercised a more contained control on the visitors' side. What was interesting is that both footballers moved the play with clarity, but it was Branca who had to be more precise in defensive marking. The 25-year-old who arrived at Villa Urquiza by coach from Comodoro Rivadavia as a prospect, ended up picking up a yellow card in a match where he had to stop several home attacks.

Argentino de Versalles opened the scoring through Gutiérrez, who netted from his role as central midfielder. It was his goal of the matchday, a strike that seemed to put the team in front to control the rest of the contest. León Hoyos, the 29-year-old striker who has been in these divisions for years, provided an important assist in his team's moves, trying to be the attacking reference in the final third. However, Villa Urquiza's response was effective. Tadeo Calabretta, the 37-year-old attacker with more than fifteen years of experience, levelled the match with his goal. Then Hernán Fischer, the 27-year-old Brazilian striker who stands out for his dynamism in front of goal, sealed the visitors' win with his goal.

Argentino de Versalles' defence did not find the solidity needed to contain Villa Urquiza's organised attacks. Francisco Adamczyk, the central defender of just 18 years old who arrived at Villa Urquiza just over a year ago from Mendoza, delivered an outstanding display in the visitors' back line with a rating of 7.5. Meanwhile, Fede Kowalczyk in Villa Urquiza's goal, at 25 years old and with a rating of 7.4, did his job by dealing with what came from the home attack. The goalkeeper from Córdoba, who arrived at the club almost by chance, did enough for his team to take the victory.

The result was fair in terms of what each team showed. Villa Urquiza, away from home, was more effective, made the most of its chances in the second half and managed the lead better. Argentino de Versalles, despite the early goal, failed to maintain the pressure and allowed the visitors to take control of the tempo. A defeat that hurts at home, especially when there was a chance to open up a gap in the table.
