AA Villa Urquiza Reserva3 - 0Vet. Núñez

Villa Urquiza Reserves left no doubt on home turf. Three goals to nil against Veterinaria Núñez on an afternoon where the home side carried out its plan without a hitch, taking advantage of the mistakes of a visiting team that never found the answers to get into the match. The balanced line-ups of both sides guaranteed nothing: it was a question of who had the resources to turn chances into goals, and on matchday 5 of Primera I de CABA, the home side was infinitely more lethal.

Tomi Cazón was the master of the pitch down the left flank, showing that precocity of his seventeen years with two goals that summed up Villa Urquiza's dominance. The full-back born in Merlo had permanent space because Veterinaria found no defensive answers. Meanwhile, Nahuel Tagle, a 23-year-old central midfielder from Resistencia, added a goal in the middle of the pitch and was the link between defence and attack, posting numbers on the pitch with a rating of 7.2. Matías Aranzaga in the home goal barely had anything to do: at 27 years old and with a career without major incident, he was a witness to a match settled in the first half.

At the other end, Norberto León tried to create from midfield with his 29 years of Rosario experience, but Turco Castellano in defence could never stop the home surge and ended up booked. Veterinaria Núñez left empty-handed from a pitch where the difference in resources was laid bare. Villa Urquiza keep piling up emphatic wins, while the visitors will have to do some soul-searching in the dressing room. The numbers do not lie: a 3-0 is a blow that is hard to recover from.
