Sportivo Rosario Sur0 - 0Los Quejosos United

Sportivo Rosario Sur and Los Quejosos United shared the points in a match that reflected two cautious sides, with no intention of taking unnecessary risks. The goalless draw arrived without drama, almost naturally, as if both line-ups had agreed in advance that the sensible thing was not to expose themselves too much. On the pitch of the home side, with the weight of making their home debut, the team led by its coaching staff went with a balanced 4-4-2 system that looked for containment more than width. The visitors replied in similar fashion, also banking on denying space and punishing any lapse. It was administrative football, with no excessive attacking ambition. The defensive lines worked like grey walls, impenetrable but also rather uninspiring.

Territorial dominance did not translate into attacking clarity for either side. Sportivo Rosario Sur had moments of initiative, mainly in the first half, but their crosses from wide areas did not find a dangerous finish. Los Quejosos United, for their part, were content with a solid back line and the occasional break that never came close to truly unsettling the home goalkeeper. The full-backs were the main figures in a predictable brand of football, where passes backwards outnumbered any attempt at a through ball. The midfield stubbornly worked the ball from side to side, as if the opposition goal were covered by an invisible bell. Neither manager put his foot down in the second half, resigned to the result ending without much fuss.

In the end, both teams took a point from matchday 2 of Primera H-GBA Norte. For Sportivo Rosario Sur, the draw at home was a missed opportunity; for Los Quejosos United, an acceptable result given they were away from home. Neither victory nor defeat, just two sides that spent 90 minutes facing each other without saying very much. Another day in the league.
