El Fortín de Villa Pueyrredón0 - 2AA Villa Urquiza Reserva

AA Villa Urquiza Reserva took a comfortable victory in Villa Pueyrredón with a 2-0 scoreline that reflected the difference in performance between the two squads. The visitors carried out a well-balanced plan with assurance, in which their full-backs and wingers were clearer than their local counterparts. El Fortín tried to hold firm in the 4-4-2, but lacked the attacking flow needed to trouble the porteño defence. The Urquiza reserve side, by contrast, made the most of their chances with the cold-bloodedness of those who know that the details decide these ties.

Cayetano Vallejo, the 37-year-old left winger who has spent half his life in football, was one of the starting points of the visitors' attack. His experience showed in his ability to beat his man and create danger. Miguel Weinberg added his goal from the right flank, showing the consistency that took him to Villa Urquiza years ago. Nahuel Tagle, the 23-year-old central midfielder, was decisive in the middle with his goal and an assist, while Gino Zoppi anchored a defensive line that El Fortín never managed to breach. On the home side, Joel Valencia tried to hold the midfield from the right, but Ricardo Zaghi's presence on the left proved insufficient to cut passing lanes. Quique Serra, a forward of just 23, was left without space and without partnerships to put him in a position to compete.

The result leaves El Fortín with clear defensive urgencies and the need to redefine their attacking capacity in midfield. AA Villa Urquiza Reserva, meanwhile, picked up three points with a controlled performance that did not require any desperate gestures. In Primera I de CABA, these organised wins often count for more than many passionate victories.
