C.A Jcp0 - 0Club A Sac

C. and Barrio Retiro and Federación Pompeya shared the points in a fixture that summed up all the tactical austerity of the matchday: zero goals, zero major thrills, two teams who arrived at Retiro's pitch with the same idea of giving nothing away. Both line-ups in 4-4-2 and with an even mentality produced a predictable match, where the efforts were timid and the defensive lapses were never punished with the kind of penetration they warranted.

Right-back Jeremías Bruschi was one of the few who tried to break the monotony from the home side's right flank, posting respectable numbers according to his 7 rating, though without the fine detail a side setting itself up as the host needs. For the visitors, Dylan Milos did his job in the marking without any real sparkle: a 25-year-old full-back who behaved with the seriousness of someone who learned to defend early, with just a 6.7 rating but effective in containment. Lucas Baragiola, in the Pompeya midfield, had moments of clarity in breaking things up, though his 6.9 rating reflected a performance without any great scares. Galo Hidalgo, the home side's right winger at 29 and with a 7.2, was the one who most looked to cause imbalance down the flank, but he found an opponent who prioritised defensive security over any adventure.

Pocho Tronci, Pompeya's experienced striker at 31, used his veteran know-how without finding any real space. The goalless draw leaves C. and Barrio Retiro with a point more at home, something that counts, even if it does not excite. For Federación Pompeya, the result away from home has a different flavour: as visitors, this 0-0 works like a well-drilled defensive wall. Both will keep waiting for their strengths to wake up on the next matchday.
