Unión Flores3 - 1Def. Parque Centenario Centro

Unión Flores left no doubts on the opening day of Primera H - GBA Oeste. The home side made the most of being the hosts to ease past Def. Parque Centenario Centro, sealing a 3-1 victory that reflects the dominance they exerted over the ninety minutes. With both sides set up in a 4-4-2 structure and an even mindset, the match was decided by the home side’s efficiency, as they made the most of their chances while the visitors were left stuck in a display without attacking consistency.

Unión Flores’ work across the pitch was direct and functional. The hosts found space in midfield and knew how to move at pace towards the opposition box, creating clear chances which they turned into the three goals shown on the scoreboard. Def. Parque Centenario Centro, despite arriving with similar tactical intentions, could not sustain a tempo that would allow them to trouble the opposition defence consistently. The consolation goal came too late for the visitors, when the result was already settled and little was left to do.

The comfortable win leaves Unión Flores with an encouraging outlook ahead of the coming matchdays, while Def. Parque Centenario Centro will have to rebuild quickly. For the away side, this league debut represents a turning point where both execution and competitive mentality will need reviewing. The numbers speak for themselves: with three goals conceded and only one of their own, the recovery task will be arduous. Unión Flores, by contrast, take three valuable points that put them in the frame as a side to be reckoned with in a tournament that has only just begun.
