Match report

Familia Perezosa left no doubts on the opening matchday of Primera H in GBA Sur. With a solid and decisive display, the home side beat Ferro Villa Crespo 2-0 in a match where both approaches were similar in shape but different in execution. Both sides lined up in the same shape: 4-4-2 and balanced mentality, but it was Familia Perezosa who made better use of their chances and kept control when they needed it most. The comfortable win reflects a superiority that was evident from the outset, without any need for unnecessary exposure at the back.

The home side managed the tempo with good judgement. In defence, the back four was compact and difficult to break down. In midfield, Familia Perezosa managed to thread passes forward with precision, creating spaces that Ferro Villa Crespo could not close effectively. Both goals came at moments when the visitors switched off or when the home defenders won key positions. Ferro Villa Crespo had their moments, as is only right in any match, but lacked accuracy at the critical moments and failed to find a way to trouble a rival who knew how to shut down the spaces when necessary.

For Familia Perezosa, this start is positive: three points at home, no goals conceded and a foundation of confidence for what's to come. For Ferro Villa Crespo, the result hurts because the side was not outplayed in terms of the plan, but in execution. The visitors should have been sharper in attack and less vulnerable in defence. In a league where every point counts from the first round, this kind of defeat, magnified by the two-goal margin, leaves little room for hope. The next one will be crucial for the Villa Crespo side.
