TIRO FEDERAL BB2 - 4Club Atlético Sportivo Colonia Sur

Federación Caballito made the most of their trip south as a perfect business outing. In the first matchday of Primera H - GBA Sur, the visitors took a convincing win away at Club Temperley Sur's pitch, with a resounding 4-2 that leaves no doubt about who controlled the afternoon. Both teams started with identical line-ups, 4-4-2 and balanced mentality, but it was Federación Caballito who read the game better and punished every defensive lapse from the home side without mercy.

The away side produced organised, effective football, making the most of the spaces opening up in midfield to create clear chances. Club Temperley Sur tried to contain the onslaught from the outset, but a lack of precision in the pass and some covering errors ultimately proved fatal. The home side did manage to score twice, which shows they were not a team that threw in the towel, but they were exposed in situations where Federación Caballito showed no mercy. The visitors, for their part, kept to a clear pattern: win the ball back quickly, move the play forward and finish with purpose. Those four goals were the reflection of a plan that worked from start to finish.

For Club Temperley Sur, this debut is a bucket of cold water. Beyond the two goals they did score, the defence exposed vulnerabilities that must be fixed urgently if they are to compete in the division. Federación Caballito, by contrast, head back south with three points that mark them out as a side to watch. At this stage of the season, a big win like this on the first matchday is always a good calling card, although it remains to be seen whether the level of performance can be sustained.
