Match report

River Chico left no room for interpretation on matchday 2 of Primera G. With a solid performance from the outset, the home side deployed a balanced strategy in their 4-4-2 formation which allowed them to control the tempo of the match without the need for unnecessary risks. Nahue Berasaluce, the 29-year-old central midfielder and standout with a rating of 8.4, was key in building the play from midfield. With two goals to his name, Berasaluce turned his experience into concrete goals that sealed the comprehensive win. Bastian Milos, the 23-year-old striker who arrived at River almost by chance in a neighbourhood friendly, added the remaining goal and confirmed his fine form. Santiago Cisneros, the 25-year-old left-back, carried out his defensive duties without any alarms, while Damián Aranzaga, the midfielder of just 17 years old who is already gaining experience in the First Team, contributed from the right side. Yago Cacciatore at centre-back, still competitive at 33 with a rating of 7.5, held the defensive line without yielding ground.

Tigre del Bengala, for its part, came with identical tactical intentions for balance, also in 4-4-2, but failed to execute its plan. Patricio Cacciatore, the visiting 31-year-old central midfielder, could not contain Berasaluce’s creativity and picked up a yellow card in the effort. Leonardo Bauer, the Patagonian 20-year-old striker who plays without pretensions, did not find enough space to trouble them. Roberto Zola, the 29-year-old right-back, was outdone at times by the home side’s attacking movement.

The difference was clear: River Chico executed its approach with precision while Tigre del Bengala never managed to build an effective response. A 3-0 that sums up, without drama, the performance of both teams on the pitch.
