Primera División: Matchday 11 Results and Table (Season 2)

Atlético Boedo are still on a roll and now have 24 points after edging past Atlético Chacarita Sur. The leaders are keeping up the pressure at the top, but the real talking point from the matchday was Club Ituzaingó's thumping win: they put 4 past Defensores de Liniers to move into the leading pack, just one point behind the leaders on 23 points. The battle for top spot is heating up: Defensores del Norte also gained ground with a 2-2 draw at home against Atlético Parque Patricios, while Sportivo Castelar stayed fifth after a goalless draw at home to Club Barracas.

There was plenty of movement in mid-table. Sportivo Bahía Blanca saw off Sportivo Nordelta 2-0, although it was not enough to lift them out of the bottom places, while Defensores de La Reja ended Atlético Pacheco's run with a 1-0 win. Club Mataderos could not find a way through against Sportivo Pergamino, and Defensores de Tigre Norte let two points slip against Club Punta Alta in a 1-1 draw that leaves both sides embroiled in the relegation battle. There were few surprises at the bottom, where everyone is fighting tooth and nail.

Next up are the fixtures that could decide who stays near the top and who sinks further. The managers will need to make adjustments, because there are not many points left to play for.
