Primera E - GBA Norte: Matchday 15 review

Atlético Olivos claimed a convincing 2-0 win over Atlético Carapachay on matchday 15, showing that the northern zone has plenty of teams ready to fight at the top. Meanwhile, Club Acassuso FC continue to show exactly why they are top: they beat Atlético Florida 2-1 in a match that had excitement right to the final whistle and remain firmly at the summit with 39 points in the bag.

It was not the most thrilling matchday overall, with several draws preventing more than one side from pulling clear. Club Villa Adelina FC could not find a way through against MI VIEJA MULA YA NO ES LO QUE ERA, while in Boulogne, Defensores drew 1-1 with the home side. The same happened in Ricardo Rojas, where Defensores and Biocca San Vicente shared the points without being able to settle the match.

FC Emerald continued their winning run, beating Club Atletico y Tiro 1-0 to stay second in the table, 9 points behind the leaders. There is still plenty of time for them to join the title fight. Atlético San Isidro also won, defeating Defensores de Florida 1-0 to remain third and keep their hopes of moving higher alive, while Atlético San Fernando took advantage of the opportunity to collect three points by beating Sportivo Belén by a single goal.

The next matchday promises more movement at the top, with the contenders looking to pile on the pressure and avoid being caught.
