Primera E - GBA Sur: matchday 15 review

Matchday 15 in Primera E - GBA Sur delivered plenty of drama, with Defensores de Lanús beating Defensores La Esperanza 2-0 to stay top and strengthen their lead with 32 points. But the biggest talking point was Sportivo Bernal dropping points after being held to a goalless draw by Atlético Lomas Sur, leaving them level with Club Wilde FC in second place, both on 31 points. The race for the top remains wide open, and every point counts.

Club Wilde FC came out on top with a 2-1 win over Sportivo Pereyra, earning a place in the top three. Club Berazategui also had reason to celebrate after beating Atlético Bernal 2-1 in a closely fought match, while Atlético Burzaco Sur picked up an important 2-0 victory away at Defensores de Solano.

There was also a fair share of goalless draws. Atlético San Vicente could not find a way through against Club Burzaco, while Defensores de Adrogué and Club Atlético Los Andes were also unable to break the deadlock. Club Ranelagh were the other winners on matchday, edging past Club Atlético Wilde 1-0.

After these results, Defensores de Lanús remain top with 32 points, followed by Sportivo Bernal and Club Wilde FC on 31. Club Berazategui have 28, while Atlético Bernal complete the top five with 27 points. The title race is incredibly tight, and the next matchday promises more action on the pitch.
