Primera Nacional Zona A: matchday 11 preview and kick-off times

Matchday 11 of the Primera Nacional Zona A, the second tier, serves up a tasty fixture list tonight, with every match kicking off at the same time. The headline fixture is Sportivo Villa Lugano against Atlético Pompeya, with the 23-point runners-up looking for more after stringing together three straight wins, despite two draws creeping into their most recent run. Pompeya arrive with less momentum, sitting sixth on 14 points and blowing hot and cold, so the Lugano side will be looking to make home advantage count and keep sharpening their finishing in pursuit of the leaders.

Looking at the table, Sportivo La Lucila are showing no signs of slowing down: top on 25 points and riding a winning streak (EPGGG). However, they face a tricky trip to Atlético Recoleta, who are sitting solidly in fifth on 18 points and are in winning form. It is the sort of fixture in which the leaders have to show they can deliver consistently away from home.

There is movement at the bottom of the table too. Club Villa Soldati, fourth on 19 points but with an inconsistent record (GPPPG), take on Defensores de Palermo, who are battling in 11th place with just 12 points. Soldati need a response after two straight defeats. Also keep an eye on Defensores de Bella Vista, who are rooted to the bottom with just 6 points, as they travel to face Sportivo Villa Ortúzar, who come into the match on the back of two wins in a row.

The rest of the matchday features a few more evenly balanced-looking contests: third-placed Atlético Rincón face Sportivo Once, Club Saavedra welcome Defensores de Villa Urquiza after their latest win, and Sportivo Nuñez, also coming off a victory, look to halt Club Almagro Sur, who are enduring the worst run of form, without a win in their last five.

Tonight will decide who stays in the hunt at the top and who starts scrapping for points at the bottom. Grab your phone, because every match kicks off at 21:00 and this one should be well worth following live.
