It was a busy week in ELDT's transfer market, with almost 2.100 deals and $13.961 million changing hands. The priciest signing came out of the north of the GBA (Greater Buenos Aires): Martín Méndez, a 24-year-old centre-back with a level of 16, moved from Sportivo Nordelta to Sportivo Pergamino for $59 million. A healthy outlay to strengthen the back line in Primera División, the top flight.
Human managers also got stuck in and pulled off some heavyweight deals. Alan Rizzo, a central midfielder of just 21 but with a level of 18, travelled from Deportivo Mataderos Veteranos to Soldados Mancos F.C. for $57 million, while Javier Maldonado left LOS GURISES FC for Atlético Rincón for $56 million. Those two human-run clubs were active as they looked to bring in reinforcements.

As for spending, Soldados Mancos F.C. were the biggest splurgers of the week: $151 million on 4 signings, although they also brought in $202 million through sales. Atlético Rincón were close behind, putting down $149 million on 4 additions. Chayeros, Campana and Defensores de Palermo also went out and backed their squads with decent budgets.
At the other end of the table, LOS GURISES FC came out best from the week: they sold 9 players for $322 million, a cracking bit of business that gives their budget some breathing room. Atlético Recoleta also did well, moving on 17 footballers for $264 million. Barracas and Sportivo Don Torcuato also cashed in, even if the numbers were not as eye-catching as the top two.
One important detail: in ELDT everything is decided by auction, and this week no free agents were signed. All the movement came through transfers between clubs, which keeps the race for the best available talent nicely heated. Keep an eye on how these changes affect the next matchdays.
