Transfer market: ELDT’s priciest signings of the week

It was a busy week in the ELDT transfer market, and the biggest splash came from 23-year-old goalkeeper Dante Toninelli, who left Club Punta Alta for Cóndor for 70 million. The level 19 shot-stopper was the most expensive player to move in the auctions, though Alexis Zappi was hot on his heels, with the 18-year-old right winger leaving Atlético Boedo for Defensores de Dolores for 61 million.
Among human managers, there was plenty of movement: 510 million changed hands between you. The biggest spenders were Atlético Pacheco, who went on a buying spree, ploughing 425 million into 21 signings, led by Bautista Portela, who arrived from LOS GURISES FC for 58 million. But here’s the interesting bit: Pacheco were also the biggest sellers, banking 502 million from 15 transfers, so in the end the books balance nicely.

LOS GURISES FC shifted plenty of stock as well: they let Portela go and also Fabián Zaghi, the 19-year-old youngster who moved to Defensores de Tristán Suárez for 55 million. Sportivo Castelar put 227 million into signings but were smart sellers too, bringing in 248 million from just 6 sales, with Ciro Sevilla and Adriano Scorza their big deals.
At the other end, Atlético Rincón made a tidy sum with 331 million in sales. Gianni Bensi was their star departure, moving to Defensores del Norte for 52 million, but the club kept cashing in on other players throughout the week. Atlético Chacarita Sur also did well, with 322 million from 14 sales, staying lively in the auction.
In total, 12.251 million changed hands this week across 1.487 transfers. There were also 3 free agents who found clubs, so the market had something for every kind of manager: those looking to spend big did just that, and those who knew when to sell also came out on top.
