Sociedad Parque Chacabuco2 - 0Juventud San Cristóbal

Sociedad Parque Chacabuco dominated without any trouble on matchday 5 of Primera L — GBA Norte, dispatching Juventud San Cristóbal with a 2–0 scoreline that left no doubt about who was superior. The home side imposed a controlled tempo from the first minute, making the most of a balanced formation that allowed them to manoeuvre comfortably in midfield while the visitors barely found any space to break through. The goals came at just the right moments, with no need for emotional surges or those laboratory performances that later show up in the statistics. It was, quite simply, a better team facing another that came to try but left empty-handed.

At Parque Chacabuco, Marcos Bidegain orchestrated the play from midfield with the trademark calm that defines him, distributing space and tempo without rushing. Full-backs Esteban Aboud and Tadeo Biscardi were solid in defence while pushing forward whenever the opportunity allowed. Loly Baldo, on the left, was lively but picked up a yellow card that restricted him during the closing stages. Víctor Neumann in goal was barely tested: the defence did its job and the visitors created no dangerous chances. For Juventud San Cristóbal, Elián Valenzuela, a 34-year-old veteran of this division, tried to hold things together but fell short. Cacho Ballarini, the Mendoza-born forward, looked for combinations that never came together; at centre-back, Nahuel Saliba was overpowered at key moments of the match.

The result is fair. Sociedad Parque Chacabuco take three points after a trouble-free match, putting in a composed performance that allows them to join the battle at the top without expending too much energy. For Juventud San Cristóbal, there is only the bitter taste of an away trip that never allowed them to come close to causing any concern. In this Primera L — GBA Norte, comfortable wins are worth the same but send a different message: this is a team that knows exactly what it is doing.
