Reservas Boedo2 - 2Prov. Saavedra

Boedo and Saavedra shared the points in a match that had everything to be memorable: goals, tempo, two sides determined not to give an inch. The 2-2 draw on matchday 10 of Primera L was the fair result of an afternoon in which both squads showed there is still room to grow in the competition. With identical line-ups and balanced mindsets, neither wanted to give less, and the final result reflects the parity that defined the ninety minutes.

Elías Bazzani was the standout for Reservas Boedo: the midfielder from Mendoza scored a goal and provided an assist in a display that allowed him to control areas of midfield. Víctor Retegui, the centre-back from Bahía Blanca who has known about marking since he was sixteen, also found the net in a match where the defence was never completely solid. For the away side, Franco Mazur and Yoel Arratia were the scorers for Provincia de Saavedra, with the man from Rosario especially incisive from midfield. Adolfo Hoyos contributed with an assist, although he ended up booked when nerves began to show towards the end.

What remains unresolved is defensive consistency on both sides. Boedo had Lima and Ian Zurita in midfield, with the youngster from Comodoro showing that that precocity at twenty years old has substance behind it. For Saavedra, Joaquín Vannini in defence had a transitional match where the youngster from Resistencia showed his ability to play fairly but also his limits in the tackle. Neither winners nor losers in a result that leaves both teams hungry for more in the next matchdays.
