Reservas Floresta took a narrow victory against Club de Villa Crespo Este in a match where both teams were after the same thing but only one knew how to settle it at the right moment. On matchday 11 of Primera L - GBA Oeste, the home side won 2-1 in a result that fairly well reflects what happened on the pitch: a tight contest where mistakes weighed more than virtues. Floresta's 4-4-2 formation worked as a solid base, while Villa Crespo Este tried the same with an identical set-up, producing a match without major tactical imbalances or textbook surprises.
Hugo Sartori put in a good shift at left-back for Floresta, while Benjamín Arrillaga and Maicol Montenegro drove the home attack with more nous than sparkle. Federico Aramberri, at 29 years old, remains a valuable option on the right wing. At the back, Lito Ferreyra did his job despite picking up a yellow card, which points to a certain lack of precision in the movement. For Villa Crespo Este, Eduardo Ponce pulled one back with a goal that kept the match alive until the end, but his 6.9 rating sums up his display well: decent, but far from decisive. Leonardo Gutiérrez provided an assist from central midfield, though at 18 he still lacks the consistency to make a difference in matches of this kind.
What was clear is that Floresta made the most of home advantage with efficiency, nothing more. The away side had their chances but did not take them; Ponce tried to change the result but it was not enough. For Villa Crespo Este, there is still work to do in front of goal. For Floresta, three points that add to the battle at the top of the zone.
