Sportivo Once Sur sealed their second straight victory with a resounding rout at C. y Barrio Retiro's ground. The final 3-1 scoreline unambiguously reflects the difference in approach between two sides who started with balanced set-ups but whose executions diverged markedly. The visitors made the most of the space left by a home side that was disorganised at the back and turned their attacks into goals with surgical efficiency, while the team at home could only muster sporadic danger on an afternoon when the tactical compass seemed to vanish.
Kevin Saavedra was the man who set the tone. The Brazilian centre-back, just twenty-four years old but with an understanding of the game that belies his age, scored twice and was a permanent barrier in the visitors' back line. His ability to read passing lanes and close down space before it opened turned every contested ball into a matter of precision. Pichi González, Once Sur's experienced left-sided midfielder, also got on the scoresheet on an afternoon when the away side were functionally superior. For the home side, Joel Arichabaleta pulled one back with a goal that was not enough to hide the overall shortcomings, while Tito De Luca at left-back provided an assist but could not contain the raids down his flank. The Comodoro Rivadavia full-back, now twenty-six, remains a dependable performer, but against opponents who attack with assurance he is exposed.
The visitors' win is fully deserved. Sportivo Once Sur corrected the details, maintained constant pressure and knew how to punish when chances arose. C. y Barrio Retiro, by contrast, failed to find tactical answers in time and paid dearly for the lack of intensity in defensive transitions. With this defeat, the home side slips further away from the top places in the table, while Once Sur add valuable points in pursuit of their targets in the zone.
