UBID ILUMINACION1 - 2Atlético San Isidro

Defensores de Boulogne fell at home to Atlético San Isidro in a result that sums up Primera E neatly: two evenly matched sides, identical 4-4-2 formations, with no tactical differences to explain the final gap. The visitors won 2-1 in a tight match where individual quality carried more weight than the collective. Ferrari scored for the home side with a display worthy of his 7.2 rating, but it was not enough to keep Defensores afloat once San Isidro found their rhythm. Daniel Bruno, the 36-year-old veteran who has run the middle of the pitch for years, provided an assist that showed the experience he tries to bring to this side, though the result leaves his effort incomplete.

Bautista Bruno was the key man for the visitors. The 25-year-old centre-back scored one of the goals and his 7.2 rating is no coincidence: he is one of those defenders who are willing to push forward when the context allows. Andrés Paredes, the 23-year-old striker born in Rosario, also found the net and proved decisive in attack. Manuel Sánchez, the veteran central midfielder aged 34, supplied an assist that brought order to the game at key moments. San Isidro's defence is anchored by Hernán Tagliafico at left-back, who, despite picking up a yellow card, showed his 7.5 rating in actions that prevented greater scares.

At the back, it was a typical match for these leagues in GBA Norte, where two similar sides meet without major differences in squad quality. The balanced mentality of both meant there was no clear dominance. San Isidro made the most of the chances they created, while Defensores came up short in the finish. That is the reality of matchday 1: some sides start with victories that put them near the top, others with defeats that already carry weight.
