General Alvear de Once2 - 0Federación Constitución

General Alvear de Once laid bare their superiority at home and put Federación Constitución to the sword with a 2-0 win that admitted no argument. On matchday 9 of the Primera L de CABA, the home side controlled the rhythm of the game with a balanced structure that allowed them to move the ball about without fuss, while their rivals could barely find any gaps to cause trouble. The goals from Emanuel Molina and José Couto came at a point when the visitors had already sat back, confirming a superiority that was more about control than bursts of brilliance.

Molina, the 24-year-old Cordoban centre-back, opened his account with a goal that reflects his ability to get forward from the back, while Couto, the seasoned 34-year-old with polished know-how, sealed the win once the match had already been tactically settled. Salvador Altuna on the right and José Riquelme on the left were the men tasked with providing width in the home midfield, both stepping into creative areas without overdoing it. In goal, Kevin Sassi barely needed to make any meaningful interventions; a yellow card underlines how little work the experienced goalkeeper had to do. Federación Constitución tried to keep things balanced with their full-backs Stefano Gómez, the youngster aged just 18, and Alejandro Reyna looking to provide defensive cover, but neither Mateo Pollini's slips in midfield nor the visitors' efforts managed to breach a structure that operated without cracks.

The visitors left empty-handed, with no case to argue. General Alvear de Once strengthened their standing near the top with a victory that brings not suspense but confirmation that they have a team capable of being where they are. Federación Constitución will have to review their defensive shapes and the flow of their central play; balance is not enough without the ability to break down opposition systems.
