Prov. Saavedra3 - 0Patriotas Núñez

Provincial Saavedra left no room for doubt on matchday 9 of the Primera L de CABA. Against Patriotas Núñez, the home side imposed its authority from the off and put the match to bed in emphatic fashion: 3-0, a margin that speaks of clear and sustained superiority over the full ninety minutes. Both sides lined up in similar shapes, 4-4-2 and balanced in mentality, but Provincial found first where to do damage. With Constantino Gutiérrez keeping goal without alarm, the Saavedra defence contained Patriotas with no great difficulty. Mauricio Cacciatore, by contrast, endured a rough night in the away goal, where Matías Borda's defensive efforts were not enough to stem the avalanche of attacks.

The goals came with the midfield's involvement in Saavedra. Iván Rosati, a 33-year-old left-back with experience and authority, opened the scoring. The seasoned defender made the most of his reading of the game to join the attack and finish. Yoel Arratia, on the right, also played his part in the rout: the 22-year-old midfielder showed pace and precision at key moments. Adolfo Hoyos wrapped up the party up front, with the striker running and pressing tirelessly. Provincial's attacking trio worked in tune, while Adrián Gutiérrez, Patriotas' striker, found no answers on an afternoon when his side was overwhelmed.

The result leaves Provincial Saavedra with solid arguments in the home table. Patriotas Núñez, meanwhile, will have to rebuild quickly: the rout exposes defensive vulnerabilities that cannot be repeated. Cacciatore was shown a yellow card in the midst of the debacle, a sign of frustration in the away goal. For the CABA side it was a decisive win that consolidates their position. For the visitors, a night to analyse in depth what went so badly wrong at the back.
