N. Estrella Floresta3 - 0Ferro Pompeya

Nueva Estrella Floresta gave Ferro Pompeya no chance. Using a balanced 4-4-2 that worked without any need for tactical surprises, the home side demolished Ferro Pompeya with a performance in which finishing was more important than all-round play. The final 3-0 summed up an afternoon in which the visitors arrived with the bare minimum of intent but lacked the resources to pose a serious threat. The identical formations did not produce a constantly combative match: it was simply a difference in quality converted into goals.

Santino Palomeque was the difference-maker the home side needed. The 25-year-old midfielder scored one and provided an assist, with a rating of 7.7 that accurately reflects his influence in midfield. Samuel Pawlak, a 24-year-old forward, got on the scoresheet, while Cataldo Rosati, the 29-year-old right winger, completed the scoring with a goal that sealed the outcome. Oliverio Romano, the 26-year-old left-back, also contributed to the attacking build-up with an assist. For the visitors, 22-year-old Ezequiel Guerra was booked in a match in which Ferro never found the required pace. Lautaro Kaczmarek, a veteran 33-year-old centre-back, had no room for error, while Chacho Bernardi, the Paraguayan central midfielder, was also cautioned without being able to stop the home side's onslaught.

Nueva Estrella Floresta picked up three points without suffering emotionally in the battle to remain among the leaders of Primera I - GBA Oeste. Ferro Pompeya, by contrast, are carrying this result like dead weight in the table: regardless of the formation, they lacked the attacking energy to make the match competitive. Matchday 17 leaves the home side in a strong position and the visitors under pressure to respond quickly.
