Vet. Saavedra0 - 2Liga Núñez

Liga Núñez secured a comfortable victory on Vet. Saavedra's turf, winning 2-0 on matchday 16 of Primera I - GBA Oeste in a performance that left no doubt about who controlled the tempo of the match. Both teams lined up with similar formations, balanced 4-4-2s, but it was the visitors who made better use of their opportunities and managed their resources more effectively. Saavedra failed to convert their attacking efforts, while the side from the northern area were ruthless when it mattered.

Vicente Rosas was decisive in attack for Liga Núñez, demonstrating his experience on the right wing with a rating of 7.6 that translated into effectiveness on the pitch. Lucca Gil, the 28-year-old left-back, looked dangerous going forward and contributed one of the goals himself, adding to the moves that decided the result. Marcos Andueza performed his duties well in goal for the visitors, while Sebastian Mazur remained solid at centre-back despite picking up a yellow card in the aerial challenges. For the home side, Walter Gordillo tried to create danger up front, but found a visiting defence that gave him no space. Cristian Gallardo at left-back for Saavedra had a difficult afternoon. Lorenzo Valsecchi in the home midfield was not enough to give the hosts' play any consistency.

The result leaves Vet. Saavedra with a bitter taste: they played in a balanced manner but lacked effectiveness and precision at decisive moments. Liga Núñez, by contrast, made the most of their visit with authority, showing that in Primera I the difference between winning comfortably and suffering lies in the details. For Saavedra, this defeat puts pressure on the upcoming matchdays if they want to remain in the hunt.
