Futbol Puchito3 - 0Club Monte Castro

Argentino de Versalles showed no mercy. On matchday 14 of Primera L - GBA Sur, the home side displayed a superiority that Monte Castro could never counter, closing the afternoon with a 3-0 that reflects the gap that opened up from the opening minutes. Both sides went out with the idea of playing a balanced 4-4-2, but the home side imposed its game plan early and did not allow the visitors to find even a breather in midfield. The goals from Indio Rivero, León Hoyos and Ismael Bovo ended up sealing a superiority that was more tactical than circumstantial.

The spine of Argentino de Versalles operated with precision. Chacho Gutiérrez, the central midfielder of just 21 years old, controlled the rhythm of the match with a maturity his youth does not suggest. Rivero, his midfield partner, was the brains who linked the attack with two goals to his name and a constant presence that wore down Lara, a 16-year-old youngster Monte Castro were trying to hand a debut under impossible conditions. Hector Krawczyk, the left winger of 36 years old with a rating of 7.6, showed that experience still counts in these battles: his play out wide was a constant headache for Emanuel Lobos. León Hoyos made the most of the space created to score his goal, while Bovo completed the rout from left-back. Monte Castro tried something through Rafael Mira in attack, but without support in defence and with Lobos struggling, they could do little.

For Monte Castro it was an afternoon of frustration. The visitors found no way to compete in terms of intensity or precision, and their young prospects such as Lara were overwhelmed by a rival that managed the tempo naturally. Argentino de Versalles pick up three gold points in the fight for positions, while Monte Castro will have to rethink their attacking structure before the next fixture.
