Beyond the 34-match sprint

An OSM alternative where the club is yours for years

Online Soccer Manager is fast, friendly and easy to get into: pick a real club, play a short season, start again. ELDT is for the manager who wants the opposite: one club, built over years, in a league where rivals stay rivals and the economy is yours to manage.

A persistent club instead of a season reset

In ELDT you do not pick a licensed club for a season. You take a fictional English club at the bottom of a pyramid of 341 leagues and you keep it: squad, academy, ground, finances and history carry over from season to season. Promotion and relegation are real; so is the play-off between the runner-up and the clubs just above.

A market, not a shop

Players are bought in three-day auctions against other managers and computer clubs, or loaned between clubs. All of it is paid with the club's virtual money. There are no boss coins, no instant results and no paid scouting: real money never buys a sporting edge.

Live matches at fixed times

League matches on Thursdays and Saturdays from 19:00 UK time, the ELDT Cup on Tuesdays and European cups on Wednesdays, all commentated minute by minute. You can follow live on your phone, in the browser or the Android app, or read the report later.

Which one is for you?

If you like short campaigns with real club names and a quick reset, OSM does that nicely. If you want a long-term project, an honest table and a youth academy that produces your own stars, start here.

What a week in ELDT looks like

League matches on Thursday and Saturday from 19:00 UK time, kicking off in waves every 15 minutes. The ELDT Cup on Tuesday, a knockout by level so you face clubs of your own size. European cups on Wednesday for the best clubs of each country. Friendlies on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and private leagues on Sunday. The youth tournament plays on Thursday and Saturday mornings at 07:00. A season is 30 matchdays in a league of 16 clubs, with promotion for the champion, a play-off for the runner-up and relegation for the bottom four. The full rundown is here.

How to start

Sign up in two minutes, with no card. You get a club at the bottom of the pyramid with a full squad, an academy, a ground and a budget. Pick your eleven before the next match, set the week's training and have a look at the market. If you do nothing, the game still fields your best eleven, so you never forfeit. England opens on 7 January 2027; until then you can leave your email on the English home page and we will tell you when the doors open.

Frequently asked questions

Are the clubs real?

No. Clubs and players are fictional, with English names. You write their history.

How long is a season?

30 matchdays, two a week, plus the cups. Your club continues into the next season with everything it built.

Is there anything like boss coins?

No. Club money is earned in the game and real money never buys players or results.

Can I play it on my phone?

Yes, in the browser or with the Android app.
