A football manager to play with friends: private leagues
Every group has the endless argument about who really knows football. Private leagues in ELDT settle it properly: each of you runs your club, a fixture list is drawn between you and the table does the talking. The group-chat banter, now with results commentated minute by minute.
How it works
Create the league, give it a name and share the invitation code. When everyone is in, the tournament starts with its own fixtures and its own table. Each manager plays with their real club, the same squad and tactics they use in the official league, so beating your mate means something: you did it with the team you built.
The private league runs alongside your official campaign. You never risk promotion by playing the group tournament; they are separate competitions with the same club. Private league matches are played on Sundays, when the official calendar is quiet.

Who it is for
The school friends, the five-a-side team, the office, your Discord server, the football-mad family. Each person creates a club for free (two minutes, nothing to download), one of you sets up the league and invites the rest. Results stay on public match pages you can paste straight into the chat.
And because there is no pay-to-win, nobody in the group can buy their way to the top. The one who wins managed better.
What the free game includes
Everything. A squad of real players with attributes, form and contracts; tactics with saved line-ups; a transfer market with three-day auctions and loans; training by skill with a coaching staff; an academy with scouts and a youth tournament; finances, sponsors and stadium works; league matches on Thursday and Saturday at 19:00, the ELDT Cup on Tuesday and European cups on Wednesday, all with live commentary; and private leagues with friends. There is no trial version and nothing locked behind a paywall. Supporter is optional and never buys an advantage.
How to start
Sign up in two minutes, with no card. You get a club at the bottom of the pyramid with a full squad, an academy, a ground and a budget. Pick your eleven before the next match, set the week's training and have a look at the market. If you do nothing, the game still fields your best eleven, so you never forfeit. England opens on 7 January 2027; until then you can leave your email on the English home page and we will tell you when the doors open.
Frequently asked questions
How many friends do I need?
As long as each of you has a club in ELDT, that is enough. Create the league, share the code and the tournament starts when everyone is in.
Does the private league affect my official league?
No. They are separate competitions. Your club plays both with the same squad, but points and positions never mix.
Can I be in a private league and the official one at the same time?
Yes, that is exactly the design: the official league is your road up the pyramid; the private one is the group tournament.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Private leagues are part of the free game.
