A league with real opponents and a real calendar
Your league has 16 clubs, each run by a real manager where possible, and a 30-matchday season with promotion, relegation and a play-off. Matches are at fixed times, Thursdays and Saturdays from 19:00 UK time, with live minute-by-minute commentary. There is a cup on Tuesdays and European cups on Wednesdays. The table means something because everyone plays by the same rules.
Deeper, but not heavier
Training by skill, a coaching staff, scouts and a youth tournament, an economy with gate receipts, sponsors and wages, a ground to build. It is more to think about than a mobile tapper, but the daily routine is still ten to fifteen minutes, and it runs in the browser with no download, with an Android app if you want one.

What a week in ELDT looks like
League matches on Thursday and Saturday from 19:00 UK time, kicking off in waves every 15 minutes. The ELDT Cup on Tuesday, a knockout by level so you face clubs of your own size. European cups on Wednesday for the best clubs of each country. Friendlies on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and private leagues on Sunday. The youth tournament plays on Thursday and Saturday mornings at 07:00. A season is 30 matchdays in a league of 16 clubs, with promotion for the champion, a play-off for the runner-up and relegation for the bottom four. The full rundown is here.
How to start
Sign up in two minutes, with no card. You get a club at the bottom of the pyramid with a full squad, an academy, a ground and a budget. Pick your eleven before the next match, set the week's training and have a look at the market. If you do nothing, the game still fields your best eleven, so you never forfeit. Is ELDT on mobile?
Yes: in the phone browser and as an Android app. Same game, same club.
Are there daily rewards or tokens?
No tokens. Money is earned by running the club: tickets, sponsors, prizes and sales.
Can I play more than one match a day like in Top Eleven?
League matches are twice a week; friendlies can be arranged on the other days. The rhythm is a week, not a session.
Can I bring my friends?
Yes, and you can set up a private league with them alongside the official one.
