Monte Castro arrived on Chacarita turf and took a clean victory that admits no argument. Two goals on the board and a tactical superiority that Argentinos de Chacarita could never counter in the second matchday of Primera L - GBA Sur. Both sides went out in similar shapes, four defenders and four in midfield, but the difference was in the execution. The visitors managed the tempo, made the most of their space and Cristian Piotrowski, the twenty-three-year-old striker with a past on Patagonian dirt pitches, took care of sealing the result with a goal that decided the match.
The home defence found no answers. Xavier Visini, a centre-back from Mendoza with experience, and Uriel Tellini in goal, a young goalkeeper of nineteen who picked up a yellow card in the match, had a difficult afternoon against the visitors' attack. At the other end, Miguel Escalante on the left and Gabi Benassi on the right were decisive in the creation of attacking play. Escalante, a twenty-five-year-old full-back who knows the Patagonian dirt pitches well, displayed his potential with a 7.5 rating that showed in decisive actions. Franco Barbano in the visitors' goal kept things in order when needed, though he had little to do. Adriano Giménez, the veteran centre-back of thirty-eight who has been at Monte Castro for years, holds the rearguard well.
Rubén Ruiz, a central midfielder of thirty-three with plenty of experience, tried to organise the home midfield but was left without tools. The Chacarita side was predictable, with no surprises in their play, while Monte Castro knew when to accelerate and when to slow things down. A clear difference between the side that knows how to manage a match and the one that merely endures it.
