Match report

AC Parque Avellaneda secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Parque Chacabuco, leaving no doubt about who were the better side on matchday 15 of Primera L del GBA Sur. El Tradicional tried to set up with a back four seeking balance, but the visitors found gaps that were far too wide to plug. Julián Spadafora, the 22-year-old forward who grew up dribbling between containers in Comodoro Rivadavia, was the nightmare of the match: he scored twice and applied constant pressure to a home defence that had no consistent answers. Stefano Trentin pulled one back for El Tradicional with a goal that came too late to change the course of the match, by which point the damage had already been done.

Parque Avellaneda’s task was made easier by the tactical clarity of their midfield. Lito Wisniewski, the 28-year-old midfielder accustomed to working without fanfare, exerted control that halted Trentin’s attempts from the centre. Tito Vivaldi, the 20-year-old full-back who arrived at the club almost by chance, fulfilled his defensive role without fuss, while Omar Greenberg, the experienced 33-year-old winger from Bahia Blanca, tried to create something down the right for El Tradicional, but his efforts were not enough. The visiting defence, with Agus Bonomi untroubled in goal, controlled the match without distress.

El Tradicional of Parque Chacabuco must now rebuild after a blow that complicates their position in the table. Spadafora had already scored before half-time, and although Greenberg provided an assist that shifted the balance slightly in the home side’s favour, the visitors managed the closing stages with ease. Adriano Navarro, the Rosario-born player with a scar on his eyebrow, completed a composed performance that allows Parque Avellaneda to keep picking up points away from home. For the side from the southern area, this is the kind of victory that solidifies a campaign.
