La Verdad de Coghlan1 - 1Argentinos de Recoleta

In a match between similarly set-up sides and with few thrills, La Verdad de Coghlan and Argentinos de Recoleta shared the points in Comodoro Rivadavia with a 1-1 draw that left both sides unable to pull away in the table. Under an even mentality from both teams in a 4-4-2, the fixture unfolded in spells, but without much attacking sharpness. Cesar Vigliani opened the scoring for the hosts with a goal that seemed to put them on course for victory, but Franco Sotelo arrived from the right flank for Argentinos to level matters and seal, broadly speaking, a fair result.

La Verdad de Coghlan controlled much of the first half through Gianni Vidale in midfield, with the Colombian carrying out his holding role without major alarms, though without shining too brightly either, earning a rating of 7. Sasha Loredo, just nineteen years old, provided an assist in the move for Vigliani's goal, showing useful connections in attack. At the other end, Xavier Murat, at thirty-five, kept the goal secure with assured decisions, while Maxi Volpi at right-back for Argentinos covered his line with the composure reflected by his 7.2 points. Tito Basili, the away striker aged twenty-eight, was an important engine in Recoleta's attack and completed the assist for Sotelo's goal.

The result leaves ambitions partially met. For La Verdad de Coghlan, dropping two points at home hurts; for Argentinos, taking a point away represents a relief after a fixture in which they never produced superiority, though Sebastian Doval, their twenty-nine-year-old centre-back, stood up well to the pressure. With this matchday, both sides are left in the awkward position of neither moving forward nor slipping back significantly in Primera I de CABA.
